A warm end to the week!!!

OVERVIEW: Warm front continues to lift north and should be out of the area overnight. With the heat and humidity building for Friday, an afternoon shower or t-storm is possible. A better chance overnight into Saturday as a cold front approaches. It will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms for much of the day. It clears the area Saturday night leading to a nice end to the weekend with Mother’s Day dry and mostly sunny. Temperatures soar into the 80s to start the week as our next warm front moves in Monday. It may trigger a few showers or thunderstorms. The cold front will then swing through Wednesday with another round of showers and storms and bring an end to the 80 degree weather.

EVENING FORECAST: Warm sunshine and mainly dry with temperatures dropping out of the 70s to the upper 60s.

OVERNIGHT:  Dewpoints are climbing as more moisture moves in and with temperatures dropping tonight; we could see mist or fog develop towards morning. Clouds will return keeping lows on the mild side in the upper 50s to around 60 degrees.

HERSHEY PART OPENING DAY FORECAST:  It will be a warm one with peaks of sunshine mixing in and out of the clouds.  Keep an eye to the sky later in the day towards evening for showers & thunderstorms as they will be possible.


END OF THE WEEK: With the front north of us and the winds more southerly, we should much of the area in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees with a few spots even warmer. Only an isolated chance for a shower or thunderstorm is possible in the afternoon. A better chance for showers and storms move in Friday overnight into Saturday. High Temps Tomorrow

WEEKEND OUTLOOK:  Next front coming in from the Ohio Valley will bring a return threat of wet weather overnight Friday into the start of the weekend. Showers will be likely for Saturday. With the clouds and showers around, highs will be in the mid 70s. Mother’s Day looks great and will remain dry and warm with highs in the upper 70s.

EARLY NEXT WEEK: Warm front approaches Monday triggering our next chance for showers and storms.  It will be much warmer with highs in the low 80s. Tuesday continues warm with a stray shower or storm possible but highs will reach the middle 80s. Temperatures will cool off as a cold front swings through Wednesday bringing another round of showers and storms. Highs in the middle 70s.
