Crews spent the night cleaning up after a fire broke out at the Stauffer’s plant in York County. They were called to the building in Spring Garden Township around 11 o’clock last night. First responders say a cookie or cracker caught on fire in one of the ovens. The fire was contained to that oven, so there was no major damage. Crews spent most of the night dousing hot spots and clearing out smoke. There were workers inside the plant when the fire started. They were evacuated and later sent home. No one was injured.
