York Man Arrested on Sexual Assault Charges

A York man is in prison, charged with sexually assaulting two young girls over a four year period. Upper Allen Township Police say Jordan O’Berry, 23, of Madison Avenue in York, is facing charges of Rape, Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Indecent Assault, Unlawful Contact With a Minor and Corruption of Minors for the alleged assaults, which the victims say occurred between 2006 and 2010. Police began investigationg the allegations in March.
The victim’s ages ranged from 7 to 11 years old during the time of the alleged offenses. O’Berry would have been 14 to 18 years old at the time. O’Berry is being charged as an adult.

On May 7, 2014, O’Berry turned himself in to police. He was arraigned by District Judge Mark Martin and committed to Cumberland County Prison. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 19, 2014 before Judge Martin.
