There are a lot of reasons why moms are so great.

“She always takes care of us, everyday,” said Kylee Organ.

“She feeds us every morning, before we go to school,” her brother Cullen added.

On Sunday, moms across the country will be celebrated in many different ways.

According to the National Retail Federation, $2.3 billion will be spent on buying flowers.

Dan Hinson owns the Stagemyer Flower Shop on North George Street in York.

He says they’ve had to stay open every night this week just to keep up with the demands.

“There`s over 100 stops we`re going to make tomorrow,” Hinson said.

From flowers to food; employees at the Heritage Hills Resort in York Township have also been busy preparing for a grand buffet at the restaurants on site.
Chris Spangler, the General Manager of Knickers Pub and Ironwoods Restaurant says they’re expecting more than 950 people to attend brunch Sunday.

“We have omelet stations, carving stations, fresh pancakes, a lot of chafer dishes you can go and enjoy; everything from lunch to breakfast items as well,” Spangler said.

And for some; a homemade gift is the way to go.

“At school, I made her a flower,” said Kamdyn Organ.
