Prisoners get time off their sentence for reading

A new program for inmates in Italy will have them cracking open a book to reduce their prison time.  The initiative would allow a prisoner that is serving six months or more to get three days off their sentence for every book they read while in jail. Officials say their would be a limit of 48 days off a year for read and each book would need to be 400 pages or more.
