OVERVIEW: This evening with the heat and humidity building and an advancing cold front, an evening shower or t-storm is possible. A better chance overnight into Saturday as a cold front approaches. It will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms for much of the day. It clears the area Saturday night leading to a nice end to the weekend with Mother’s Day dry and mostly sunny. Temperatures soar into the 80s to start the week as our next warm front moves in Monday. It may trigger an isolated shower or thunderstorm. Showers and storms possible again Wednesday with the best chance Thursday as a cold front swings through. Cooler weather will follow late next week.
