A Lancaster City man is arrested after county drug agents seized nearly 17 pound of marijuana from a self storage locker rented in his name. The seizure took place in March at an East Lampeter Township self storage locker. A search warrant was executed at the facility following a year long investigation of Eric Jay Leed, 30, for the illegal sale of controlled substances.
Also inside the locker were scales and packaging material commonly used for the sale of marijuana, about $9,000 in cash and various documents in Leed’s name. The seized marijuana has a street value of about $33,000.
Leed was arrested in April without incident. Detectives executed two more search warrants related to the sale of marijuana and an additonal $18,000 in cash was seized.
Charges against Leed include Intent to Deliver Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Following arraignment, Leed was sent to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of bail.
