An armed man robbed a business in the Hanover Crossing Shopping Center in the 400 block of Eisenhower Drive Monday night. It happened around 7:15pm. A clerk was working alone in the store when the suspect entered and browsed like he was shopping.

The suspect eventually approached the clerk at the cash register and raised his shirt to display a handgun tucked in his waist band and then demanded money. The victim handed the suspect several hundred dollars in cash from the register. The suspect then ordered the clerk to walk out of the store with him. He told the clerk to walk one direction while the suspect walked in the opposite direction. The suspect was last seen walking west along the 300 block of Eisenhower Drive. Police say the victim was obviously frightened during the incident but was not injured and reported the robbery from a nearby business.
