A homeschooled teen in Virginia is kicked out of a prom event for homeschoolers over the weekend after organizers tell her her dress was too short and her provocative dancing would cause “impure thoughts”. Seventeen year old Clare wrote a strongly worded blog post on her sister’s blog to address the issue and it has since gone viral. Clare and her boyfriend maintain that her dress was within the only dress code given -fingertip length. They also say that in the few minutes they were at the prom she wasn’t even dancing, let along provocatively.
Clare ended her post saying, “I’m not responsible for some perverted 45-year-old dad lusting after me because I have a sparkly dress on and if you think I am, then maybe you’re part of the problem.”
