Police seek to ID vending machine thief

Police in Cumberland County are seeking help to identify a man stealing money from vending machines. The bandit struck twice this month in Upper Allen Township. Township Police released a surveillance photo of the man.

The suspect posing as a maintenance person to work on the machines, forced open and stole money from vending machines at two separate businesses. The thefts happened in the Upper Allen Business Park along Independence Avenue.

Police also released a surveillance photo of a mid 1990’s to early 2000’s two tone Ford Explorer. Anyone with information that can lead to the identity of the suspect is asked contact Upper Allen Police at (717) 238-9676 or online at http://www.upperallenpolice.com
