Fire crews in Adams County responded to a fire early Saturday morning at the Exotic Animal Rescue.

The fire started around 5a.m. at a home in the 300 block of Zoo Road. Officials say most of the animals were saved but three cats did not make it out.

Adams County Fire Company is still investigating the cause of the fire. Officials did say that the house did have working fire detectors.
