Gubernatorial candidate Tom Wolf returns to York for “Fresh Start” Tour Rally

One of the democratic candidates for governor made a stop in our area on Sunday. As part of the “Fresh Start” tour– Tom Wolf made his way around the state ending with a rally in his native Mount wolf, York County.

Wolf talked to supporters about his plans to give Pennsylvania a fresh start and the importance of voting this Tuesday. He said while much of the campaign has focused on television and radio advertisements, getting out and meeting voters in person is also critical.

“The ground game is going to be a big factor in this campaign and I’ve been working very hard at that so I’m very confident that we’re going to do well,” Wolf said.

Earlier in the day, Wolf spent time in Philadelphia meeting with leaders there. He also spent part of the weekend campaigning in the Pittsburgh area.

Wolf is running against 3 other democrats for the nomination: Rob McCord, Katie McGinty, and Allyson Schwartz.
