NOT AS COLD TONIGHT

Milder night, clouds thicken Tuesday

After another pleasant, spring afternoon, the clouds that bubbled up during the afternoon hours fade into the evening. A few sprinkles quickly fade too. It’s a mainly calm overnight period, and low temperatures won’t be nearly as chilly compared to the past couple of days. Expect readings to dip into the middle 40s to near 50 degrees. Election Day is mostly sunny to start, but a warm front approaching the region gradually builds clouds through the day. Temperatures are back to seasonable averages in the lower to middle 70s.

SHOWERS RETURN

By Wednesday, our next cold front brings the chance for widely spread showers. Highs are in the lower to middle 70s yet again. The end of the week looks mainly dry, but some small shower chances will try to sneak in. Thursday brings a mixture of clouds and some sunshine with a few showers possible. Clouds build again Friday courtesy of an upper level disturbance in the atmosphere. A few spotty showers will be possible again with highs near 70 degrees.

SHOWERS FADE/WEEKEND WARMING

Saturday, a mixture of clouds and sunshine is expected. Again, a shower or two will be possible. Highs are in the lower 70s. Sunday brings abundant sunshine with highs warming into the middle 70s. The warming trend and the plentiful sunshine continue into Monday, with high temperatures approaching the 80 degree mark.

Have a great night!
