A Franklin and Marshall poll leading up to Primary Day out York County businessman Tom Wolf in the lead with 33 percent. The frontrunner cast his vote at Eagle Fire Company in Mount Wolf, his home precinct.

Wolf is competing with Rep. Allyson Schwartz, a five-term Congresswoman, state Treasurer Rob McCord, and former state  Environmental  Protection Chief Katie McGinty.

Wolf pulled ahead early on is race with a $10 million ad campaign. He’s a former state revenue secretary.

“I’m nervous I don’t know what the polls mean,” says Wolf . “The only poll that really matters is the one- that’s what they say all the time, the vote is what matters so I’ll see tonight like everybody else.”

Some polling places say they’re seeing a slow day with a light turnout. Polls are open until 8 pm.
