Bomb Squad called after suspicious soda can found outside of bank

Carroll Township Police had to call the bomb squad to a PNC Bank  after a suspicious soda can was found. Police were called to the bank located along the 400 block of N. Baltimore street just after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday.

A soda can with tape around it was found in the lobby area of the bank. Police immediately evacuated employees and customers from the bank.

Police had several bomb sniffing dogs complete a search of the parking-lot  and building. No explosives were found.

State Police bomb technicians examined the soda can and determined that it was not an explosive device.
