Gallup poll shows majority of Americans continue to support same-sex marriage

Lancaster Advocates for Gay Marriage Want Protection from DiscriminationA majority of Americans across the nation continue to support same-sex marriage.

The latest Gallup poll shows that 55% of Americans support same-sex marriage , a percentage that has continued to rise since 2011, when support passed the majority point.

In 1996, when Gallup first asked about the issue , just 27% of Americans surveyed said they believed that gay marriage should be legal.

    I'm okay with civil unions and all but I'm not OK with them getting married or having kids. Both of these things are not natural and should not be tolerated
