Man threatens to shoot several people in Palmyra

PoliceBadgeA Jonestown man faces several charges after police in Palmyra say he threatened to shoot multiple people.

Palmyra Borough Police are charging Richard Engle Jr., 27,with terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment after police say he allegedly pointed a gun at someone’s head and threatened them. It happened Thursday evening in the 500 block of South Railroad Street.

Upon investigation, police discovered that Engle displayed a gun multiple times and made statements that he was going to shoot several people.

Engle was transported to Lebanon County Central booking for arraignment.

Police say one person was transported to a hospital for a possible broken finger and a second person was later transported for a possible concussion.
