ERIE, PA- Jessica Bachmaier brought her daughter to the hospital last week after she says, “Her motor skills weren’t all there. Like, she wasn’t cooperating. She was like a limp noodle.” Erie police say the baby’s blood-alcohol content was 0.289 percent, which is more than three and a half times the legal limit for an adult.
Brachmaier said she mixed what she thought was bottled water with baby formula to make her daughter a bottle, but she thinks the man who was babysitting her child filled the bottle with vodka.
So far no charges have been filed, but an investigation is ongoing. Bachmaier says her child is doing well and is in foster care.
