Early taste of summer arrives for Memorial Day

TOMORROW: A summer like day as high pressure slips to our east allowing for a west-southwest flow to boost our temperatures into the low to mid 80s under mainly sunny skies. It may feel a tad more humid as dew points come up but it won’t feel too bad outside.

OUTLOOK:  Tuesday will still be warm hitting 80 degrees under partly sunny skies. There is a chance for showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Shower chance continues into Wednesday as a cold front drops in from the northwest. It looks like right now we get a break from any shower chance on Thursday but the next weak front arrives Friday afternoon and may trigger an isolated shower or thunderstorm. Ridge of high pressure starts to build back in by Sunday warming temperatures to near 80 under mostly sunny skies.

Don’t forget to take a moment on this Memorial Day to remember those who selflessly gave their life and those who continue to give their life for us and our country.
