The driver of a vehicle who crashed through a Dauphin County motel room early Monday was trying to escape from an armed robbery suspect, police said. The incident happened at the Hollywood Motel at 155 Richardson Road in Lower Swatara Township just before 5 a.m.
According to police reports, the victim crashed his vehicle into a room while trying to escape from an attempted robbery. The suspect fled on foot before police arrived.
The investigation is ongoing.
