OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear this evening but heading into the overnight towards morning, the clouds will be returning. Lows will be mild in the upper 50s to low 60s.

TOMORROW: Still warming to the low 80s under mostly cloudy skies. With the heat and more low level moisture along with an approaching cold front, we will see scattered showers and thunderstorms develop especially in the afternoon and evening. We’ll have to keep an eye on the storms because with enough sunshine they could get quite strong perhaps even severe.

OUTLOOK:  Showers and storms will be possible again Wednesday as a cold front drops in from the northwest. It looks like right now we get a break from any shower chance on Thursday however, an easterly flow sets up and will keep the clouds around along with the slight chance for a few drops to fall. The next front arrives Friday afternoon and may trigger an isolated shower or thunderstorm. Weekend is looking warmer with plenty of sunshine and dry hours from Saturday through Monday.

HURRICANE SEASON:  June 1st is right around the corner and NOAA has put out their 2014 Hurricane Outlook.  They are calling for an average to below average season.  Here is a look at the forecasted number of named storms, hurricanes and how many will reach major category compared to the season averages.
