Emergency crews are expected to work throughout the evening to repair a sinkhole in the 900 block of North Duke Street in Lancaster. The sinkhole was discovered at about 3:11 pm Monday. City officials say a water main break caused the sinkhole which is estimated to be about 4 feet deep and 11 feet wide.
Repair work began shortly after 7 pm and is expected to be completed before the morning rush hour. Meantime traffic is being detoured around the block.
