Bicyclist struck in Earl Township

Stop usually means stop. A 23 year old Ronks man is injured after he runs through a stop sign while riding his bicycle.

Police in New Holland arrived at the intersection of Maple Grove Road and Horning Road in Earl Township and found Levi Stoltzfus injured. Upon investigation, police realized Stoltzfus was traveling East on Horning Road when he blew through a stop sign.

He entered the intersection and was struck by Kyle Betz, 28, of New Holland who was traveling south along Maple Grove Road riding his scooter.

Stoltzfus was transported to Lancaster General Hospital in critical condition. Betz was not injured.

Police are still investigating.
