Police believe juvenile involved in home burglaries

Neighbors alarm leads to the arrest of a burglary suspect. Manheim Township Police were called to the 300 block of Buch Avenue, Lancaster County, just after 4:00a.m. Wednesday.

The victim told police they  woke up to their dog barking and found someone had tried to break in through a window.

When police arrived on scene, an alarm was activated at another home nearby. When officers searched the area they found a suspect police described as a juvenile hiding in the bushes.

When the suspect  seen police he took off.  After a short  chase, police did take the juvenile into custody.

Manheim Township Police are still investigating.
