Lancaster City Police found a 19-year-old man in an alley behind the 300 block of South Ann Street Wednesday night, struggling to stay alive.
“He had sustained two gunshot wounds to the upper torso and head area,” said Lt. Todd Umstead with Lancaster City Police.
The teen was taken to a local hospital, where he’s in critical yet stable condition.
Investigators say now the question remains, who pulled the trigger?
“There was at least one individual who may have heard some arguing prior to the shots being fired and another unconfirmed report that two males were seen running from the scene but we don’t really have any physical description and again we haven’t confirmed that information yet,” Lt. Umstead added,
Lt. Umstead says they’re hoping information from the public, as well as surveillance video from local businesses and safety coalition cameras will give them the leads they need to make an arrest.
