Police look for suspects involved in robbery/assault in Harrisburg

Police are looking for three men after a 63-year-old man was assaulted before the his car was stolen in Harrisburg on Wednesday evening.

Police were called to the 600 block of S. 25th Street around 9:30 p.m. The victim told police he was inside his home when he heard a car alarm go off, he looked outside and saw his car door was open with three black males were standing around it. The victim went outside to check the situation out and the suspects ran off.

Police say the victim then followed the three men to the area of S. 26th & Duke Street. When the victim confronted the three males they beat him up and stole his wallet and car keys.

The victim was transported to the hospital for his injuries. Police believe the victim’s car was taken after he was assaulted. Police say the suspects were described as between the ages of 16 – 22 years old, all wearing hooded sweatshirts.
