A BREAK:  The summer storms, heat, and humidity take a break today.  A cold front has slipped to our south, but a warm front arrives tonight.  So while we’re in the middle, today will feature any morning sunshine and fog giving way to clouds through the afternoon.  We should stay dry today with highs nearing 80°.  Enjoy the day.

RAIN CHANCES

STORMY NIGHT:  During the day Wednesday, severe weather fires in the Ohio Valley.  These potent storms will gather themselves into a cluster and push east through the day.  The storms arrive in our area beginning after dark this evening and lasting overnight, and will weaken quickly as they shift east.  However, a few storms may still maintain some strong, gusty winds and heavy downpours.  Rain moves out by early morning.  Expect a wet commute.  By Thursday afternoon, we start to break the clouds for sun and highs only climb to the middle and upper 70s as cooler air slips into the state.

RAINFALL

WEEKEND:  High pressure builds for Friday into Saturday.  Expect highs near 80° on Friday with plentiful sunshine. Saturday, clouds mix in a bit on an otherwise mostly sunny day.  Highs hit the low 80s.  Sunday, we’re into the middle 80s as clouds begin to build back into the region.

NEXT WEEK:  A storms system rolls in on Monday with scattered showers and storms in the forecast.  Highs hit the low to middle 80s.  We clear a bit for Tuesday.  With another system coming for mid-week.

Make it a wonderful Wednesday!
