A Lancaster man faces charges after he shoves a man during a fight causing serious injury. Police responded to the fight just after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of W. Lemon Street Lancaster County. When officers arrived they found a 56-year-old man unconscious on the sidewalk and suffering a head injury.
The victim was immediately taken to a local hospital where he is listed in serious condition. Upon investigation and interviews with witnesses, Todd Watkins, 44 got into a heated argument with the victim. Watkins shoved the victim twice causing him to fall to the sidewalk.
The victim suffered serious head and neck injury and lost conciseness as a result of the fall.
Watkins is now charged with aggravated assault.
