Two teenagers charged for cellphone threats

By: Alex Derencz

East Pennsboro Police Department filed charges against two teenagers for making terroristic threats to other kids through cellphone messages.

From May 31 to June 1 victims were sent text message threats and images of what appeared to be a firearm, police said.

Those being bullied told their parents about the messages, and they contacted police. Police investigated and the 13 and 15 year-old suspects told police that the threats were a joke, and the firearm was an airsoft gun.

The charges are being handled through the juvenile court system.

Pulling the fire alarm is a joke, too. Smoke bomb on the bus is a joke, too. Telling a bank teller to stick 'em up is a joke, too. Some things just cannot be tolerated.
