Fighting back against bullies

The 1st Stand for the Silent Fair was held Saturday in Campbelltown, Lebanon County. It aims to eliminate bullying of all kinds; in schools, at the workplace and online.
The fair and fundraiser help empower youngsters to take a stand against bullying.
Theresa Hagens, President of the organization says, “A lot of children stand in silence because they’re scared to come forward to talk about what is occurring, its taboo, people don’t want to talk about it and that’s why we’ve come together.”
Hagens says bullying is on the rise, escalated by the internet.
The fair was full of information and strategies for youngsters to take a stand against bullies and for parents to know what to look for and how to help handle bullying.
