WARM & STICKY

Muggy with more showers and storms

It’s a mild and muggy start across the Lower Susquehanna Valley, with more warmth and humidity to come. Expect plenty of hazy and foggy locations throughout the morning with some spotty showers as well. A stalled front nearby keeps the chance for some showers and thunderstorms into the afternoon hours. Locally heavy downpours are possible again, meaning some minor flooding concerns for poor drainage roads and small creeks and stream. Some sunshine does poke out, and this helps warm afternoon temperatures into the upper 70s to lower 80s. The showers and thunderstorms fade into the evening hours, leaving behind another hazy, muggy, and warm night.

HUMIDITY & STORMS CONTINUE

The chance for a few thunderstorms continues Wednesday as the unsettled pattern holds. Sunshine is a bit more limited, but it’s still a steamy and warm day with highs in the lower to middle 80s. The wettest portion of the week will be the end. More widespread showers and thunderstorms enter the picture on Thursday as a sluggish storm system heads this way. Another system swings through Friday, renewing the shower and thunderstorm chance.

WEEKEND RELIEF

Behind Friday’s system, drier and more comfortable conditions move in just in time for Father’s Day weekend. There’s plenty of sunshine, with temperatures in the lower 80s. Monday clouds begin to build again, along with the humidity. Our next storm system could bring a late shower or thunderstorm, but it looks mostly dry for now. Highs are in the middle 80s.

Have a great Tuesday!
