Deadly crash involving twin brothers in York County

An 18-year-old man is dead and his twin brother injured, after their car crashed in Newberry Township.
Detectives with the Newberry Township Police Department say it happened around 1:30 Sunday afternoon along Old Trail Road.
They say the driver lost control of a 70’s model Corvette and struck a large stone on the side of the road. The car then burst into flames.
The driver was taken to York Hospital where is condition is currently unknown. His passenger and brother was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators say it appears speed played a role in the deadly crash.
They have not released the identities of the brothers, but say they lived within a mile of the crash.
