2 men sought in Franklin County armed robbery

Authorities are asking for the public’s help, and offering a $2,000 reward, for information leading to the arrests of the individuals who robbed a Franklin County convenience store late Sunday.

At about 9:50 p.m. police responded to a 911 call reporting an armed robbery at the Fuel Up store located along the 1800 block of Philadelphia Avenue in Greene Township.

According to police reports, two men– armed with a gun and a knife– forced their way into the store and demanded cash. The men fled the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of money and cigarettes.

Both men were wearing black clothing and had their faces covered during the robbery.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward leading to the arrest of these individuals, police said.
