Fire destroys Adams County home

The American Red Cross is providing shelter for an adult and three children after a fast moving fire destroys their Adams County home.  The fire broke out at about 1:30 this afternoon at the home in the 6200 block of Chambersburg Road in Franklin Township. The family was not at home when the fire broke out.

Smoke from the fire could be seen for more than two miles.  The home was engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived on the scene. It took about 20 to 25 minutes to bring the fire under control. Buchanan Valley Fire Chief Michael Spielman says the fire began in the front living area of the home.

Damage is estimated at about $150,000.  A State Police Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.

    Funny she was suppose be at court that day the house burns down n moves from the arresting county to another county things dont add up in my book.But then puts a post on facebook about drinkin when shes on probation.And then on the 19 has a hearing for unautherised use of devise of somebody eles yeap she has a nice track record already makes u wonder now don,t it.
