A couple thunderstorms are possible Tuesday. High are very warm once again, with reading in the middle to upper 80s.

Humidity levels stay quite sticky through Thursday.

Summer heat has arrived a few days early, and it’s here to stay through the middle of the week! A weakening front approaching through the evening brings the chance for a few showers and thunderstorms. Otherwise skies dry out overnight. It’s muggy and warm with lows in the middle to upper 60s. The heat continues into Tuesday after a hazy start. A stray thunderstorm or two could pop up during the afternoon, otherwise it’s mostly dry and humid. Highs are in the middle to upper 80s, pushing the 90 degree mark in many spots. Wednesday could be the first day we hit 90 degrees this year! The humidity continues, with heat indices in the lower to middle 90s. A cold front approaching from the north could fuel some strong thunderstorms late in the day.

The front stalls across the region through the end of the week, increasing storm chances. It remains warm and humid Thursday with scattered thunderstorms. Friday the front should edge just enough south to keep us mainly dry and cut out the humidity too. It is a brief break, however. Highs are in the lower to middle 80s.

Saturday, the official start of summer, brings the chance for showers and thunderstorms as the front lifts back north. The humidity is back again too. Sunday the chance for showers and thunderstorms continue. Temperatures are in the lower 80s Saturday and fall into the upper 70s on Sunday. It looks like everything clears out Monday. The humidity breaks as well, with highs near seasonable averages.

Have a great night!
