Lebanon woman sexually assaulted along city street

A Lebanon City woman says she is the victim of a sexual assault.  The victim told police that it happened between 2:00 am and 3:30 am Tuesday morning along the 600 block of Linden Street.

The 25 year old woman says she was walking west on Linden Street when she a man ran up behind her and pushed her to the ground. The suspect is described as a white male about 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 10 inches tall, heavy build, long brown or black hair with a deep voice wearing a black hooded sweat shirt.

After the assault the suspect ran west then north from Linden Street. The victim received minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital.
