Victims of violent crime were remembered in Dauphin County Thursday night. The county’s Victim Witness Assistance Program held its annual vigil for the families of violent crimes at the courthouse. 19 people were killed in homicides across the county in the past year.

“This is on the road to some sort of closure for the victims, to show that everybody remembers those who have been lost, that they have not died in vain, they will be remembered forever,” says Amy Rosenberry, Executive Director, Dauphin County Victim Witness Assistance Program.

More than 100 relatives, friends, and neighbors were in attendance.
