Chicken was the main attraction in York on Saturday…
That’s because of the 2nd annual Wingstock which was held at Santander Stadium. Local restaurants got a chance to spice things up and compete for awards while helping to raise money for a good cause.
“We have egg golf for the children, we have chicken bowling and we had local people decorate all the bowling pins as chickens so when the kids bowl them over they get to watch the feathers fly . So, it’s a nice public project,” Crispus Attucks Community Development Director Carol Kauffman.
Live music and entertainment was also part of the event.
The event benefits the Crispus Attucks Association which is a non-profit that provides community services and affordable housing to help people in York.
