Abi Miller was diagnosed twice with leukemia.  She was diagnosed in 2010.  During treatments, she needs blood and platelets.  So her family asked the American Red Cross to help them organize a blood drive.  Abi’s sister, Jennifer Crowther, says the drive is a way to give back and help replenish the supply for others.

Jennifer says, “You can’t buy or feel it, so blood has no money value, but to someone who needs it and is in need of it, it’s priceless.”

This is the second blood drive in honor of Abi and those in need of blood donations.  If you want to help, contact the American Red Cross.
