Investigators learned the dealers were part of two organizations that were distributing drugs, mainly heroin throughout Berks, Lancaster and Schuykill Counties. Members of both organizations acquired bulk quantities of illegal drugs and broke them down to street level packages.
Early Monday morning, police executed 16 search warrants throughout Berks County and one in Lancaster County. They seized ten guns, nine vehicles, a dune buggy, substantial amounts of heroin, cocaine, marijuana, synthetic marijuana, packaging materials and cell phones.
