FRIDAY: It’s a seasonably warm and mostly sunny Friday. We’re talking highs in the middle 80s with some muggy air in play. Showers and storms are widely scattered as a result of the daytime heating and some easterly flow. Evening plans look good, with temps slipping through the 70s. Overnight lows drop to the middle 60s.
WEEKEND: It’s a good looking, seasonably warm and humid weekend. Highs will hit the low to middle 80s both days. Saturday features mostly sunny skies and a stray afternoon storm or two. Sunday is partly cloudy and a tad more humid. A few storms may bubble again late as well. Get to the pool or grab some ice cream, you have a green light on outdoor activities!
BEACH: The weekend looks spectacular at the beach along the NJ, DE, and MD shores. Highs are in the upper 70s to near 80° all weekend long. It’s a breezy day Friday with a few more clouds. Sunshine returns for the rest of the weekend. Water temps are in the upper 60s north to the low 70s south with waves at 2-4 feet. Enjoy the sand!
NEXT WEEK: A bubble of warm air surges into the Northeast for the week ahead. We start with highs in the upper 80s and plenty of muggy air for Monday. A few storms may fire in the heat. Tuesday we’ll see highs touching 90°. A storm system approaches and ramps up rain chances for Tuesday with some strong storms possible. The storms push out Wednesday with highs still in the upper 80s. We close out the week with temps settling down to the mid 80s.
4th PREVIEW: For now, the Fourth of July looks seasonal with highs in the low to middle 80s. High pressure looks to roll in, clearing us a dropping the humidity. It’s still a week away, so know this can change. We hope it only gets better!
