Police seek to ID York County bank robbery suspect
Police in York County and the FBI look for help from the public in identifying a bank robbery suspect. At around 1:38 pm this afternoon the suspect held up the Santander Bank branch located at 1700 Baltimore Pike, in West Manheim Township, near Hanover.
The suspect, a white male, walked into the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money. He left the bank with some cash and was seen driving away in a green Ford Explorer.
The suspect is in his mid-20′s to early 30′s, approximately 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches tall, with a medium/athletic build, with scruffy facial hair and a tongue piercing. He wore a gray Under Armour t-shirt, gray sweatpants, dark colored baseball cap, sunglasses and white sneakers.
Police say the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about the robbery or the identity of the suspect is asked to call the FBI at (717) 232-8686 or the West Manheim Township Police at (717) 632-7059 ext 104. There may be a reward for information leading to the suspect’s arrest.
