Highs are nice and warm in the 80s on Sunday.

Showers and thunderstorms stay to our west Sunday, but there will be more clouds.

High pressure to our east continues to bring fair weather across the area and keep humidity levels in check. Through the night, skies become partly cloudy. It’s a mild, but comfortable night with lows in the lower to middle 60s. Sunday is another nice day, but expect a mixture of clouds and sunshine. Highs are once again in the middle 80s.

Monday, a weakening frontal system approaches, bringing isolated thunderstorms chances. The humidity returns, and temperatures rise into the middle to upper 80s. Tuesday, another front approaches the region, making a few thunderstorms possible. It’s hot, with highs near 90 degrees. Wednesday, the region is in the upper 80s to lower 90s. There’s an isolated thunderstorms chance. The heat and mugginess continues with highs near 90. An approaching cold front looks to break the heat, but first it brings the chance for scattered thunderstorms on Thursday.

Relief from the heat and humidity comes just in time for 4th of July festivities. There’s plenty of sunshine too. Highs are in the middle 80s leading into the weekend.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
