This week will mark six months since the homicide of Timothy Davison. The Pennsylvania State Police continue to seek the public’s help regarding information pertaining to the homicide.

On Saturday, January 4, 2014 at approximately 2 am, Davison, from Poland, Maine, was traveling SR 81 north towards the MD/PA line. Davison contacted 911 and reported he was being chased by another motorist. The chasing vehicle, a Ford Ranger pick-up truck, dark lapis blue in color, rammed Davison’s vehicle into the median. The unknown suspect exited his vehicle and fired several times into Davison’s vehicle, killing him.   The suspect fled the scene, driving SR-81 south. The suspect vehicle will likely have some driver’s side or front-end damage.

Sgt. Linette Quinn says “We are committed to solving this investigation and giving the family of Timothy Davison peace of mind. We continue to receive and follow up on tips. We want to continue to encourage the public to share any information they may have”.

State police are asking anyone who may have drove in the area during the incident and witnessed anything, even if they believe it to be insignificant, please contact the PA Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-4PA-TIPS. In addition to the Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers reward, the family of Timothy Davison has increased their reward by offering $12,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person(s) responsible for this crime. The Pennsylvania State Police would like to remind you if you see an incident of road rage, contact 9-1-1. Information to provide is a vehicle description, license plate number and your location. Do not engage the other driver and take steps to create distance between you and the aggressive driver.
