It’s getting down to crunch time with just one day until the biggest fireworks holiday of the year, July 4th.

If you haven’t bought your fireworks yet – Phantom Fireworks in New Freedom, York County has its shelves fully stocked.

The store is gearing up for its busiest day of the year.

Phantom Fireworks Manager, Bill Hunt, says while setting off fireworks is certainly fun to watch, you need to be safe doing it.

FOX43 got an inside look this morning at how to safely prepare for the holiday weekend.

“The purpose is just to keep things like (gloves, water bucket, hose) this around to help keep you safer. A water hose is great to have if you’re near the house, if you’re not near the house, a water bucket here to fill with water, you have gloves to protect your hands and goggles to protect your eyes..flashlights are always good so you can see what you’re doing in the dark,” says Hunt.
