Carlisle Summerfair
The Carlisle Summerfair continues and concludes this weekend. Be sure to check out the Anything Floats race at 9 a.m. on July 4 on the Children’s Lake in Boiling Springs, the fireworks at 9:30 p.m. that same day and the baby race at 1 p.m. July 5. Also includes free concerts and plays.

Amazing Maize Maze
Get lost in the Cherry Crest Farm’s maize maze, a maze so intense it takes about an hour to finish! There are clues to help you along the way and Maze Masters who can point you in the right direction if you need help in this family-friendly activity.

The 151st Gettysburg Anniversary Civil War Battle Reenactment
Want to get your history on this weekend, but can’t stand any more Revolutionary War talk? Head to Gettysburg for the Civil War reenactment, featuring live mortar demonstrations, period music, ghost stories, fashion shows and more.

Harrisburg Independence Weekend Walkaround
Harrisburg is doing something a little different this year – scrapping its three-day festival for a three-day walk around. Throughout the city there will be different activities, from Declaration of Independence Readings at the Simon Cameron Mansion to the Family Fun Festival at Reservoir Park.
