Shooting in a Lancaster McDonald’s parking lot

Lancaster City police say a man suffered a gunshot wound during a shooting that occurred Thursday evening in a McDonald’s parking lot along the 500 block of N. Franklin Street. When officers first  arrived on scene they could not located a victim.

A short time later police were notified that a shooting victim  arrived at Lancaster General Hospital by private vehicle. Police say the  victim, a 21-year-old Mountville man, suffered a gunshot wound to the lower torso but his injuries are non life threatening.

After interviewing several witnesses on scene, police learned that the shooting took place after an argument broke out and shots were fired. Police are reviewing cameras in the area and attempting to determine how many people were involved and what caused the incident.
