Six days past the deadline and Pennsylvania still does not have a signed budget.   The $29.1 billion spending plan that lawmakers gave to Governor Corbett last week did not meet his approval and he has not signed it.  He says there are still a few issues the General Assembly must address.

“I was looking for them to get pension reform, you have to get pension reform done. I’d like to still see the liquor code, the liquor reforms done. I think people want to be able to go and buy beer and wine at a minimum in grocery stores, there is a great deal of money to be had in liquor stores if we’re to sell it,” Governor Corbett told FOX43 on Saturday.

The budget was put on the Governor’s desk July 1st.  He has ten days to sign it, veto the entire bill or veto certain spending items before it will automatically become law.
