Arrest made in Harrisburg Vehicle Maintenance Center burglary

A Harrisburg arrested for a stolen car in June is now charged with breaking into the Harrisburg City’s Vehicle Maintenance Center. Police say they took Shihi Thomas, 19, into custody on June 21st for the stolen car. They say Thomas also had vehicle keys that belong to the City of Harrisburg. The keys had been stolen from the VMC. The VMC was broken into three times in May and June. Cars were broken into and some were taken off the Paxton Street lot and parked at various locations in the city. Thomas was charged on July 2nd with the three burglaries at the VMC and also one that occurred at Best Buy Auto Group.
