Pair arrested for stealing drugs from Hampden Twp. pharmacy

A man and woman were arrested Monday in connection with stealing drugs from the Rite Aid pharmacy in Hampden Township, investigators said.

According to police, at about 1:06 a.m. a man and woman walked into the store and approached the pharmacy located at 4957 Carlisle Pike. The woman passed the clerk a note demanding narcotics and asking them not to contact the police.

The clerk handed over an undetermined amount of drugs before the pair fled the store.

Police caught up with them a short time later.

Kassandra Mae Krick, 24, of Mechanicsburg and Ronald Lee Woolf Jr., 28, of Walnut Bottom are each charged with robbery, receiving stolen property, theft by unlawful taking and conspiracy.

Both were arrested and taken to Cumberland County Prison in lieu of $150,000 bail each.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 23.
